RSO, or "Rick Simpson Oil", is a full spectrum extract named after a Canadian cancer patient turned cannabis activist. RSO is sometimes referred to as a "whole plant" or "full spectrum" extract because it retains the full cannabinoid, terpene, and chlorophyll profile of the source plant material by using specific solvents.
RSO provides a long-lasting high that feels similar to smoking flower, but in edible form. The extract itself is tacky, has a strong cannabis flavor, and can be mixed with food if desired. It dissolves well in fat.
