Every great Captain knows that no matter how you plan, the sea is unpredictable and the storm is always on the horizon. A mariner almost never stops. While the crew sleeps, they plan over countless cups of the strongest brewed coffee imaginable. Planning all night for the best possible path through storms one after the other all while finding the fish. Amongst Captains greatest concerns and worries there is also pride. Pride usually wins and most vessels weather the storms and continue about...
Except this one time.
Far beyond the Grand Banks, was a solo fishing ship, barely visible, crashing about the breakers with ominous skies in hot pursuit. It was a well-known Cape Ann Captain and Crew aboard the “Ocean Breeze”, a boat ready for the worse the sea had to offer. Stories say the sky took a new shade, terrifying shades of orange and red blended to vermillion as the final rays of sunlight disappeared. The massive energy tossed the boat about and gear began to fall in to the depths of the churning ocean swell. The Captain knew he had to bail out. Other boats had already fallen to the storm much closer to shore. There was no land in sight, but he knew a place. He set his instruments on a course and took the vicious waves until finally a break in the violent current. He knew he was close to a secret group of Islands just large enough to protect the crew from the force of the storm. The Captain tucked in just off shore of the largest land formation. Anchors set, the boat was as stable as it could be. Until this very moment The Captain, although he did not show it, was terrified. He thought he met his match. He needed something to calm his nerves but also keep him alert until the storm passed through. He turned to his famous stash and pulled out a strain so fitting for his current situation… Storm Shelter. This explosive combination of Slurricane and Cement Shoes was the perfect hybrid selection. The onslaught of relaxation and uplifting grape and sugary berry flavors quickly brought the Captain steady relief while waiting in the shallow protected cove. All was calm and the legacy of our Captain and his crew would live on for more strains, storms and stories.
One may expect a balanced high that is comfortable anytime of day, and functional enough to get stuff done.
