The seas are ferocious, cold spray from the bow breakers freeze to the beards of the battered crew. They work feverishly about the deck, as the Chef prepares the first meal of the day inside. Just a few minutes ago he was outside, helping with the exhausting long line sword fishing. All he could think of was his friends on listing deck, working hard in the freezing spray. The Chef knew they needed something special, relaxing but uplifting. He searched the galley for a bunch of over ripened bananas, and then proceeded to make a rich, caramel and brown sugar topping. The aroma of the pungently sweet bananas baking filled the hallways throughout the vessel. As the savory topping caramelized in the oven the crew began to set the table. The battered crew were motivated by the delicious fruity smells attacking their frost bitten noses. The Chef pulled a beautiful Banana Krumble out of the oven and presented it to the crew. The overwhelming flavors instantly satisfied them and the delicacy was gone. They thanked their Chef, and headed back out to the deck, motivated and full.
